The Empowered Entrepreneur is the trading name of Amanda Gillespie, registered in Scotland and based in Fife. We provide outsourced support services, training programmes, networking events, and podcast content for entrepreneurs worldwide.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZB123456.
Data we collect
We collect personal data that helps us deliver services and run our community. This may include:

- Sensory or accessibility preferences shared to tailor events, meetings, or training.
- Payment information when purchasing services, processed via secure third-party providers (we never store full card details).

All partners sign data processing agreements and commit to confidentiality.

Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as necessary to serve you and meet legal obligations:
- Client records and project files: up to 7 years after our contract ends.
- Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe (link provided in every email).
- Event attendee records: 12 months unless longer retention is needed for safeguarding.
- Podcast contributor consent forms: for the life of the published episode.
Your rights
You have rights over the personal data we hold about you, including the right to:

- Request corrections to inaccurate information.
- Request deletion in certain circumstances.
